My surf clubs distance event. Although the run for me was only 1.7ks. The big sand dune at the end of Palm Beach was taken out after being added in for the 1st time in over 10 years last year.
Our swimmer came out first, who passed to the ski paddler still in first, who passed to me.
I did my huge contribution of 1.7ks in 8:28 along the wet sand with the tide coming in. I then passed to the board paddler who had a long paddle for the win.
The board paddler and my 9th win and the swimmer and ski paddlers 8th. We might have to front up for another couple of years to get us all up on double figures. Good fun. Missed the dodgy pair of sun glasses as I had to leave early.
