Tan lap 6.5ks

Staying at South Yarra in Melbourne for a few weeks. Close to the Tan track so I finally had some time and ran over and did a lap.
Thought I was Buster Mottram at one stage clocking 2:38 ks downhill with a 50k wind at my back and then I woke up. Buster has the Tan recorded record for the 3.82ks of 10:06.

Anyway it was a run over to the Tan for a lap and back. 6.5ks in 29:45. Average pace of 4:34 per klm.

Even if it was the gradient downhill of Anderson St for 3.8k you wouldn't be able to clock 2:38 k pace - I'll give you 3:38s ;-)

I clocked 2:15 ks through the tunnel at SMH Half last year Ewen. So it is possible. I did the lap the correct way. Clockwise.
