Finally some sun after this mornings downpour. Ran from work up to Centennial Park and did a lap around the outside via Moore Park and Anzac Pde plus a lap on the inside running track which was a bit messed up from the rain.
The lakes in Centennial Park were close to full. Well they would if it wasn't for the drainage system that sends it eventually to Botany Bay under Randwick racecourse.
Total was 17.5ks in 1:20:40. Average pace of 4:36 per klm. I was feeling good tonight.
P.S Tim was quite happy that he gets to DNS at Six Foot Track when I saw him in the park tonight. He said he was afraid that Tom wearing his floaties might beat him in the Cox's swim leg.

When the park goes under water we're all in trouble.
There were a few from Gramps Army ready to tear it up at 6' but the track is torn up and the river is still tearing it up.
