A win! An age group win. Yeehah! My first age group win in anything. First in the 40-49 age group, 5th male and 6th overall.
Cutler Dam 8k which included 2 loops of the Manly Dam Reserve Rd plus some local streets as well. The start was at the top of the hill at a school so we ran downhill to start doing the two loops.
I passed the 4k mark in 14:15, but we had a 500m uphill to the finish at the end of the 2nd loop. The hill was a killer.
Finished in 30:40 for the 8k.
Striders Tim Ashby and Jenny Wickham won the 8k respectively.

Wow, you have had a massive weekend. Congratulations on the Saturday PB and on today's bling but I guess the best for you is beating BD :-). What will his Mum say?

Sensational Flakey! What a huge weekend - well done on finishing it off in style!
Horne obviously headed to NZ to avoid having to race you:-).
I've noticed your speed work has been pretty good lately, so I reckon there's still some improvement yet. I might have to avoid the Sutho to Surf this year as you'd blow me away.
Fun run bling! Very nice. But better than that was the thrashing of Blue Dog by 2 seconds. His poor old mum will be sobbing into her lace hanky.
WoW great stuff.

Gotta love bling! Huge congrats on a great weekend of running.
It's a bling fest Flake !
Reality check Pauline:
Lil' Bluey smashed you at Lane Cove, and as for the State XC ... well, I only have 3 words for you Pauline ...
"self - de - lusional"
'cause Lil' Bluey and yourself know exactly what times were run.
And while you were beating those other handful of geriatrics on their zimmer frames at the Cutler Run, Lil' Bluey took out a prestigious age group award at the international 'Great Nosh Invitational Elite Athlete Endurance Test' competing against some of the world's best.
U R A Toss A.
