Centennial Cross Country 14ks

A run around the cross country course in Centennial Park. Gave the new trail shoes a workout again. During the run did some downhill reps as well, but that's on the other blog.

Felt good during the run, not puffed at all actually. Legs feeling good and no niggles at all.

The run was mostly on the grass and dirt trail. It was 14.5ks in 74:10. Average pace of 5:06 per klm.

Why was the run so long today. Because I'm still training for Canberra a month later, remember.

Hope you plan to sneak in one rest day before the biggy on Saturday.

Yeah - pretty wimpy week otherwise - just a 45k hilly trail run - what kind of girly marathon preparation is that?

What Tesso said... or you could have a crack at that 5000m PB this afternoon :)

See you tomorrow for tea and damper.
