A bit windy at the track tonight and I was left on my own for most of the session as I was there pretty late.
Did a 2k warmup before starting and half a dozen strides as well.
The reps were 33.4, 33.8, 33.8, 33.6, 33.9, 33.9, 33.8, 34.5. All done with a 200m walk/jog recovery. Does this mean I can pace myself really well?
Did a 2k cool down after the session.

Best of luck on Sat night mate. Try not to get dizzy running round n round that track.
Looks good - all the best for Saturday night Flakey.
I expect you'll be running the first 200m tomorrow night at about that pace. Bit worried about all these youngsters taking part in the State 3km. They do tend to get a bit jumpy. It's not like a Striders 10km...
Tom's right - run 39-40 for the first 200 and you'll be off the pack.
You don't want to be too quick though - 38 would be OK. Running 20secs per 100m after that is a bit tricky, as, after 1k it'll feel like you're speeding up to maintain that pace. It would be very unusual to be able to run 20sec/100m all the way, so maybe aim to be 3:17 at 1k and then work hard to be no more than 6:40-42 at 2k.
Goooooooo Flakey!!! Good luck tomorrow!
