28 degrees and very windy when I started this session at 7:30pm.
Went over to the Bay Run at Drumoyne to do it.
Reps were 3:36, 3:33, 3:29, 3:35, 3:38, 3:35, 3:40. All done with a 2 minute walk recovery between each rep. Much slower than last week. Must have been the wind.
Nearly had a head on with a cyclist during the third rep as some walkers blocked the path and I went around only to look up when I saw the really dim light and the skid of the bike. The rider gave the walkers some lip and I ran off.
Well I have a 10k fun run this Sunday, and I reckon I'm running like the Darling River this past week. So you guess the time?
Actually with the hills in this one I would be lucky to break 42mins.

head-on with a cyclist - in my last half marathon I was trudging up a short rise and looked up just in time to see a cyclist looming large charging straight down the hill towards me. I don't know where I found the energy to jump sideways; he didn't flinch. I think his mind was elsewhere (mine certainly was). Curiously I was nowhere near the lead; he must have known more runners could be approaching.
Best of luck with your race mate. Where is it being held? (I'm a bit out of the loop ...). Might try and do some 1km reps tonight myself and see how we're still comparing!
The reps are fast enough for you to run 39 flat. I'll guess 40:30!
